HOW KNACKERED
are you?
The Official (but completely unscientific) TKBC Entrance Test
YOU MIGHT NOT OFFICIALLY BE IN THE KNACKERED BUSINESSWOMEN’S CLUB. BUT THERE’S A FAIR CHANCE YOU’VE BEEN AN UNOFFICIAL MEMBER FOR YEARS.
If you’ve been paying the membership fees in forgotten coffees, never-ending to-do lists, “I’m fine’s” that aren’t, and inbox checks at ridiculous times, while being held together with caffeine and the thought of taking your bra off at the end of the day … there’s a fair chance you already qualify.
This is a nine-question test. It’s completely unscientific, but the experiences behind it are very real. It takes a few minutes and there’s nothing to prepare.
And if you’ve been wondering why you can’t seem to get your sh!t together, be more consistent, stop procrastinating or get everything done without feeling permanently frazzled, your answers might give you something else to consider.
Perhaps you don’t need to try harder. Perhaps you’re just bloody knackered.
You’ve been paying the membership fees for years. You may as well get the benefits.
Time to take the Official (but completely unscientific) TKBC Entrance Test
Nine slightly-too-accurate questions about running a business when the rest of your life has apparently mistaken you for its full-time operations department.
It only takes a few minutes, you can’t fail, and nobody gets a certificate for being the most knackered.
YOUR RESULT
Whatever your result, the point was never to get better at being knackered or win Most Knackered Businesswoman Award. It’s to notice how much you’ve been carrying and stop assuming that running on empty is simply part of the deal.
You don’t have to be completely burnt out before something needs to change. And the answer isn’t necessarily to become more organised, more disciplined or better at squeezing everything in.
Maybe what you actually need is less pushing and pressure, and a break from trying to think your way through everything when your brain has quite frankly had enough.
If you’re thinking “what the hell are you doing in my head?”, then I’d say there’s a fair chance The Knackered Businesswomen’s Club was built with someone very much like you in mind.
Welcome to the club. Sort of.
